TUMI Dotcom Launch

Before the pandemic, TUMI managed to have five branches without any online presence but the changing consumer behaviour called for a dotcom presence. However, TUMI lacked adequate inventory to sell online as most of their products were allocated directly to their offline stores, and existing systems were not omni-ready. We customized a process wherein online and offline channels had a shared inventory. The result was Buy Online, Ship from Store (BOSFS), a hybrid of omnichannel selling. Instead of the warehouse, the nearest physical store will fulfill the online order. Since TUMI PH’s online launch, the unique BOSFS was a success and has led to a monthly increase in sales, plus web traffic has tripled.
